1st Meeting of the Year
The Southington Librarians have gathered for a preliminary meeting about Southington LibraryCon 2020. We have a TOTALLY TUBULAR theme, and now the planning begins.

The Ultimate Team-Up
The library has come together to put on the BIGGEST ComiCon yet! The entire library has joined forces to offer programming for Children, Teens, AND Adults.

Free Comic Book Day is coming
While a flyblown ComiCon isn't in the cards this year, that won't stop us from showing our spirit. We will be giving away free comics to anyone who wants one on Free Comic Book Day, this Saturday, May 5th, 2018. Stop by anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to pick one up.

A Grueling Debate
After much thought, the Southington Library ComiCon has been pushed back to 2019 in order to make everything BIGGER and BETTER.
Superheroes and Princesses have been contacted, games, prizes and props stored, and we are arranging a take-over this summer.

Channeling Our Inner Jedi
While it isn't ComiCon, we hosted a Star Wars day in honor of the new movie. Jedi classes were held, the Force was used, Star S'mores were had. A rousing success.
